NEWLAND EM2028     Designed for OEM applicatons, this high performance CMOS engine can easily be integrated into various solutions such as kiosks, tcketng machines, PDA’s and many more.   Highly Integrated   Compact and highly integrated design, image capture device with decoder on the same board.  Small form factor features an easy installation and variety of usages.   Advance Technology   Thanks to the core-technology uIMG . Independent designed and manufactured by Newland Auto-ID. uIMG  Technology includes the optical, CMOS, digitizer, decoder, image processing & embedded systems.  Supports all global standard 1D barcode symbologies as well as major 2D codes (QR Code, DataMatrix, PDF417, Aztec, Maxicode) Reading performance reaches global standard.  By using accessories provided, scan all kinds of barcodes defined by customers.   Intelligent Focus   Advanced optical focusing system which senses the ambient environment and adjusts the optical automatically for a quick reading response.   FEATURES   The NLS-EM2028 OEM scanengine, powered by advanced imaging technology and Newland patented UIMG technology, a computerizedimage recognition system, can read barcodes on various mediums such as paperand plastic, with excellent motion tolerance.   The NLS-EM2028supports both mainstream 1D and standard 2D barcode symbologies (e.g., PDF417, QRCode, Data Matrix) as well as Chinese Sensible Code and GS1-DataBarTM (RSS) (Limited/Stacked/Expandedversions).   Thiscompact, lightweight engine provides a variety of interfaces and fits easilyinto even the most space-constrained equipments such as cash registers, datacollectors, meter readers, ticket validators and PDAs.   The NLS-EM2028’s high-performance CPU, inconjunction with the supplied APIs and SDK, provides greater ease inapplication development.   Simple to Integrate: The engine’s imagerand decoder board are designed as discrete components, making it easier forintegration.
